Leg pain comes in many forms. My patients describe it as tingly, sharp, dull, throbbing and aching. Whatever your leg pain feels like, it can be a source of discomfort and inhibit your ability to stand for long periods, put weight on your leg or simply perform everyday activities. You know the pain. It is characterized by pain that begins in the lower back and moves down the leg, typically down the back. The sciatic nerve runs from the lower back and down the back of the leg. There are several causes for this condition including inflammation of the nerve itself. In some cases, the condition is caused by overexertion, and sometimes it is caused by putting too much pressure on the nerve simply by sitting in a poor position.

Treatment:

5.    Extension is simple to learn and universally accepted to be a beneficial treatment for leg and low back pain relief. Just remember that as long as the pain is migrating toward the center of your back, and away from your leg, you are making progress.

6.    You can go for a medical massage which will involve the use of anti inflammatory drugs and ointments. This will surely speed up your recovery. Therefore, if you feel that your pain is too much to handle, do not stay at home and wish it away. There are many options in the market.

7.    In the case of claudication due to poor circulation, you can avoid complications by not smoking and monitoring your cholesterol levels. High cholesterol can lead to atherosclerosis. A healthy diet of produce and whole grains that is low in saturated fat and salt can help many people. Natural supplements to fight high cholesterol may also be useful.
