Prostate Diseases

This is one of the stages of prostate cancer where the cancerous cells have spread outside the prostate into other parts of the victim's body, causing damage along the way. There are four basic stages of prostate cancer.

Seminal vesicles are attached to the prostate and produce material that mixes with prostatic fluid to form semen. The tubes from the testicles carry sperm to the prostate, which mixes with the seminal fluid and is ejaculated during orgasm.

Prostate massaging helps to expel stagnated seminal fluid in men. Many medical practitioners also believe that a regular prostate massage even in younger and healthy men can help to lessen or even prevent prostate gland disorders later in life.

Prostate unlike any other organs of the human body, under normal circumstances, is affected by ageing. As men grows older, the walnut size of their Prostate grows bigger and bigger until it became troublesome. Bacterial infection can also attack men’s prostate. Prostate-related diseases like prostitis, enlarged prostate, and cancer share similar bothering symptoms to the affected men. The most common among them is the difficulty in urinating coupled with pain and burning feeling.

Three are three types of common ailments that can affect the men's prostate, benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), prostitis, and the critical condition of prostate cancer. The main causes of prostate cancer and BPH are not yet found by the medical world. But the risk factors, which can lead to these diseases, are well known. Age, hereditary, race, diet, lifestyle and environment all will contribute to the occurrence of these diseases. Prostate health depends on the presence of these risk factors.

Prostate problems often happen to men after the age of 50, and chances that a man will have some type of problem rise with advancing age. Various tests are available to determine if a condition may exist.

The most common misconception about the risk of prostate cancer is that the presence of non-cancerous conditions of the prostate increase the risk of prostate cancer. Even high levels of sexual activity or frequent ejaculation have been rumored to increase prostate cancer risk.

Prostate stimulation is a term that is surrounded by confusion and poor information. More and more men are acknowledging that they need to learn more about their prostate. Hopefully, increased knowledge about prostate health can lessen the symptoms from prostate disorders later in life such as an enlarged prostate or reducing the risk of prostate cancer.

An enlarged prostate can squeeze the urethra making urination and sex difficult, painful, or downright impossible. Any such symptoms should be checked out immediately with a certified urologist (a mens health doctor). It is no wonder why it is so crucial for men to pay attention to their prostate health, especially as they get older.

Prostate infection, also known as prostatitis, is the most common prostate-related problem in men younger than 55 years old. Infections of the prostate gland are classified into four types - acute bacterial prostatitis, chronic bacterial prostatitis, chronic abacterial prostatitis and prosttodynia.
