Minerals are the movers of the bodies electricity and the electromagnetic forces in the body.The body needs minerals coming in a continuous stream to charge the body . As soon as you swallow food it begins to get broken down into molecules and compounds which are then able to pass through the small intestines and irrigated into the bloodstream. Osmosis is the termed used to define the movement of homologous (chemical composition of digested food) from inside the digestive tube to outside the tube. The stream of food chemicals can only take place if there is proper MINERALS available. Lack of mineral absorption can lead to decline in mental and physical health. The first sign being exhaustion and fatigue. The small intestines is the organ is of assimilation. Every cell of the small intestines need minerals to perform osmosis. The mineral is extracted from the food it exerts a pressure. This varies with the mineral involved. A lack of minerals leads to imbalance in this delicate operation in the bowels. Minerals are converted to organic salts and when these organic salts dissolve in the body fluids. These body fluids are water and blood. The organic salts break up to become ions. Ions get dissolved and are the magnetic property of electricity.There are positive and negative ions.
Minerals are a sophisticated but simply put they are the electricity transfer mechanism in the nervous system.

The pitutary gland is the organ in the brain that regulates the balance between acid and base.
