Ten Tips on How to Establish Lasting Weight Control
1. Walk a lot. Leave the car at home, catch the bus or train.
2. Try not to eat pork at least for three or four months, then decide.
3. Eat red meat only once or twice a month. Take your time and coach yourself. If red meat is a daily habit for you, take your time and coach yourself. Go off the red meat for 3 or four months and then decide what you want to do.
4. Take liquid vitamins (very important) try not to put undo stress on your digestive system by expecting it to digest massive vitamin pills.
5. Hold your stomach in and breath deep, as often as possible.
6. Eliminate waste from your body, often. In fact, learn how to give yourself a high colonic to clean your colon. (This alone can help you drop up to 10 pounds in a week)
7. Talk to your body; ask it if it's OK to eat something - You will be surprised at how your intellect will respond over time to questions that you ask your inner self.
8. Love your body just as it is and it will change for you.
9. Do not covet your neighbor's slim body, however, see yourself thin, and if you need a little help look at your neighbor's thin body and know that in time, that will be you. Then believe it.
10. Do not diet. You loose the entire battle if you diet. I realize this may be hard for some of you to realize. To diet is in direct conflict with the "love your body just as it is" Use common sense when eating, however, do not diet.
Depending on how much weight you have to loose, it could take 3 months or 3 years. Take your time, meditate a lot and if you pray, then do so. If not, then meditate and listen to what the universe has to say. I cannot stress how important this step is.
The trick is to believe that you can and faith will come into play. Once you are in the "faith zone" it is only a matter of time. The only physical requirement (consult with your doctor) would be to continually remove waste from your colon. The rest is what we call natural weight loss. Hi all. All I can't say is, help. About a year and a half ago my father was diagnosed with stage IV bladder cancer. Since then it has spread to his lungs, liver and abdomen. Nurses say he has several months. My family is in Ohio and I am working in Washington, DC. I am 23 and my dad is only 55, unfair if you ask me. My dad and I have always been close. He is ordained in the Methodist Church and has worked in the church for years so our family has always been involved together in the church. The last report we got from the doctor is that the masses in his lungs have doubled and tripled in size in the past 2 months since he chose to stop treatment (it was doing more harm than good). So, at 23, i'm dealing with something way beyond what I am prepared for. But, on top of this, my boyfriend of 2.5 years, with whom I live, has decided to go to Cornell (500 miles away) for a graduate program. Sean, my boyfriend, has been my stronghold, my shoulder, my rock since my father was diagnosed. As poorly as I may be handling my father's condition, it has definitley been better than had Sean not been with me to support me. My support system of friends and family are all in Ohio, so Sean is all I have here. My question is, how do I do this? I personally don't think I am emotionally capable of maintaining a healthy long-distance relationship with half of my heart being in Ohio with my family. I need someone to BE there for me. What do I do? How do I end a relationship I never thought would end, and live to see the next day? How does pain like this not kill a person?

I am 61 wiegh 225 lbs, I have spent my life raising kids and grandkids, and working full time and being married 22 years to a man that cheated all of it. I have helped my son raise his kids, because of his loss of both kidneys and illness, he is now married again, his wife gave him a kidney and he is doing better although I still have his two older children with me. I want to do something for me, I went to the dr, took a tredmill test, am totally out of shape, I have a 5 in bar in my neck from work related injury, I barely get by, live in a mobile home where my 6'4" grandson sleeps on the couch. thats all fine but I want to lose weight and live, and get in shape, please tell me how!! I have tried everything, I am currently on weight watchers and I am watching it go up haha, I am at wits end. I have had a hard life, but thats ok too, just want to lose weight and meet someone, a man won't look at a heavy woman especially one with average income. You have it all together, help me get it together too.
