Stop Smoking. This Simple Tip Makes A Massive Difference

Your decision to start smoking was probably the worst mistake of your life. Your decision to stop smoking, could quite possibly save your life.

The trouble is, it's not easy to quit. That demon nicotine has a grip on you and will not let go without a fight. But you can't let it win. You have to fight harder and dirtier if you're going to beat it.

The biggest punch nicotine will throw at you once you quit, will be the craving. And let me tell you now, if you take it full on the chin, it's gonna hurt!
There's no way you're going to stop it throwing the punches, it's a fight remember?

But I'm going to show you a way to help you deflect the blows very effectively. And this technique is so simple, yet I believe so overlooked, you're probably going to laugh at me. And best of all, it's completely free.

When I successfully stopped smoking, this technique made the difference. I'd tried and failed countless times before. Now I know why.

OK, here goes. Allow me to set the scene.

You've stopped smoking and you're watching TV (just as an example). Suddenly and completely out of the blue, Nick Otine throws a right hook at you. You really want a cigarette. No . . . that's an understatement. You NEED a cigarette. You start imagining the hit at the back of your throat and in your lungs as, in your imagination, you inhale. Another right hook. Feels great, you think to yourself. I really miss that feeling. Oh no . . . an uppercut! Am I sure I really want to stop? I mean, I could smoke a little longer couldn't I? A furry of jabs from old Nick and you're reeling now. Perhaps it would be better to stop smoking at New Year. It would be much easier then because . . .

STOP! Do you see what's happening? Old Nick is not just a great boxer, he's a great persuader. He could sell ice to the Eskimos. I don't know about you, but I had this dialog with myself countless times a day when I first stopped smoking. Then I found a way to protect myself, to keep my guard up. Sure, I'd get hit with the first punch, but no more after that. How?

I redirected my attention. What!? That's it? I said you'd laugh didn't I? But wait a second, I can't overstate this: The greatest ally Nick Otine has is your attention.

Think about it. When the craving hits, do you do what I've described above? Do you drop your guard and invite Nick in so to speak. Do you remember the good old days with him? Let him get his feet under the table? It's fatal.

I want you to do something next time the craving hits. Immediatley the first blow lands, think about something else. "What am I doing later, what shall I wear for the party on Saturday, where's that book I was reading" . . . ANYTHING other than Nick.

You might not realise that you normally tease yourself relentlessly by allowing the negitive conversation to continue, but you do. It took me a long time to realise. But when I did realise and I stopped it in it's tracks, the difference was amazing.

The cravings don't last as long as you think. Before you know it, it's gone. When the next one arrives just do the same again and again and again. You don't have to go for a jog, clean the car, do the dishes or any other physical activity for this to work. You just need mental activity to divert the blows.

Don't throw this idea away. TRY IT. Don't give up. Keep doing it. You'll be amazed at it's effectiveness.
