The Elixir of Youth: Q10 Coenzyme

The Q10 coenzyme is efficient against the free radicals and may protect against the unwanted effects of the ultraviolet rays, according to clinical studies.

This coenzyme is also capable to reduce the size of the tumors, minimize the effects of strokes and cardiovascular diseases. If it is applied on the skin, it fills the pores, protects it from oxidation, and it may prevent the wrinkle apparition.

Other significant benefits of the Q10 coenzyme includes the improvement of the immune system activity, improve the cardiac conditions, enhances metabolism, positively influences fertility in case of men, and may reduce the arterial blood pressure.

Small amounts of Q10 coenzyme may be found in fish, beef, organs, spinach, eggs, broccoli, and peanuts. However, through cooking or high temperature exposure, the antioxidant properties of the Q10 coenzyme disappear. Vegetarians may benefit from the Q10 coenzyme benefic effects through supplements.

Q10 coenzyme is very efficient for dermatological treatments. When the skin loses it`s elasticity and the levels of collagen also decrease, wrinkles show up, but this coenzyme may be a good alternative. Daily stress, intense sun exposure, toxins, cigarette smoke, and other environment factors may lead to free radicals production. High amounts of free radicals may cause a series of biochemical reactions that destroy cells, proteins, and DNA.

As the body gets older, the amount of Q10 coenzyme decreases. Studies showed that this substance may reduce by eighty percent the normal aging speed of the body.
