The Symptoms And Effects Of Nervous Breakdown

At times people have relationship problems, they have problems due to factors like money, at work and a number of other factors are responsible for a person feeling anxious, depressed and stressed out. When all these factors get severe, the person might have a nervous breakdown. A person who is unable to carry out his day to day activities like any other normal person may suffer from nervous breakdown.

The symptoms of nervous breakdown
Nerves usually stretch but they do not break and the person with a nervous breakdown starts withdrawing from everything. Loss of appetite, inability to sleep and laziness to any kind of work can leave a person feel worn out and tired. Thus, this leads to a feeling of emotionally instability and mental draining.

A person loses his confidence and self esteem, which are the causes of depression and anxiety. The feelings of anxiety and depression result in some people finding their daily day to day activities affected and they feel much worn out and less motivated and are unable to complete the day to day domestic tasks.

People suffering from nervous breakdown avoid socializing with people and they experience a feeling of loneliness. The best way to reduce the feeling of anxious and less confident can be done is being surrounded by positive people who value you and respect you. It always better to respect and trust the family, friends and colleagues who are the best people who remind you with your positive points.

Effects of nervous breakdown
A person might face any sort of problem related to relationship, money, work or any other factor in his day to day life. These problems when worsen up, lead to a person feeling anxious, depressed and stressed out. When this anxiety, stress and depression increase to an uncontrollable level, then a person might suffer from a nervous breakdown.

Nervous breakdown is very disturbing and also damages one's self confidence. The person loses the motivation and energy to do things that he would perform daily and these seem to be impossible for him. Nervous breakdown has an impact on your work and on personal relationships that leads to concern and worry. Pressures in life contribute to nervous breakdown. Life pressures that are unbearable and intolerable lead to nervous breakdown.

Anything that affects the mind is bound to affect the body. The factors such as the physical, dietary and genetic along with the past experiences and the mental condition determine the person's ability to handle the stresses of life, expectations and disappointments. The feelings of anxiety, depression and stress disturb the lives of the people.

The person might feel tired and de motivated. The person is unable to perform his daily routine tasks. Even a piece of simple work becomes very difficult for him. With a right support and treatment, quick recovery is possible.

When a person suffers from nervous breakdown, he is not capable of performing his day to day activities in a normal way and unable to cope up with his daily challenges. An inability to sleep, a loss of appetite and laziness sets in and this makes a person feel exhausted. A feeling of emotionally instability sets in and the person experiences loss of confidence and self esteem. All these factors together lead to anxiety and depression.

How to reduce the intensity of Nervous Breakdown?
The most important step one suffering from Nervous Breakdown must visit the doctor as a doctor can explore a variety of treatments for the outbreak of this disorder. The medical remedy might include anti depressant or tranquilizers to aid the symptoms of anxiety, depression or sleep disorders. Other types of treatments include talking treatment like counseling or psychotherapy.

Other methods include exercises or therapies like yoga, reflexology or reiki. Medical treatments have a variety of psychiatric drugs for the treatment of mental health problems. All these medicines cause unwanted side effects due to the use of antidepressant. Drugs effect on people in different people in different manner.

The common symptoms include blurred vision, nausea, constipation, rashes, anxiety, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Benzodiazepines actually calm the brain. They react on all parts of the brain including the areas of rational thought, memory, emotions and essential functions such as breathing. For the treatment of anxiety related problems such as palpations and tremor, one can be treated by the beta blockers.

Conclusion
A visit to the doctor is the first step as the doctor can assist the person suffering from nervous breakdown. Medical treatment like antidepressants or tranquilizers will help the person with symptoms of anxiety, depression or sleep problems. Other treatment like counseling and psychotherapy will also help in reducing the nervous disorders.

There are other methods of relaxation such as exercising, reflexology or massage can be beneficial. Curing the nervous breakdown problem requires counseling, supportive relationships, change in circumstance and habit, nutritional support, removal of biochemical imbalances, medication and time. The solution varies for each person and hence the treatment is extremely subjective.
