Tips on How to Do the Master Cleanse

Hi, my name is Max Rivera. In this article I have compiled my tips on how to do the Master Cleanse detox diet. This diet is a great way to lose weight fast or to detox your body of the internal waste that is clogging up your body. I have done this diet several times now, and find it great for feeling healthy, on the inside.

I know of several people that have attempted to do the Master Cleanse and have struggled to get past day 3, after all, we’re used to eating and to go without for 10 days straight is a BIG task! I myself have failed at completing the full 10 days, it’s no big deal! Doing 3 days, or 5 days is better than doing nothing, what I can say, is that when you finally complete the full 10 days you will be amazed at how easy it was and you will feel sensational!

So here are my tips…

1. Do it with someone else. This is very important if you have a family/spouse at home. Imagine having to drink your lemon detox drink whilst watching the family eat a pizza or something you really love (pizza is my fav). If you do this with your spouse you will find that you can motivate each other and celebrate your wins as you get through each day.

2. If your family are not doing the master Cleanse with you, then make sure you plan for the fact that they will be eating solids, and you will be drinking your lemonade. At the very least, ensure that your family members are supporting you through your detox diet.

3. Take it day by day. The biggest mistake I see so many people make is focusing on how bad it is going to be to go without for the next 10 days. Just focus on it day by day, celebrate your wins of getting through the day, I find the first 3 days the hardest, then it gets easier until around day 8 (I think this is because I know I only have a couple of days to go)

4. Make sure you don’t plan to do your Master Cleanse around a holiday period. If you know a friend has a wedding or you have a work party or something coming up, then plan your time around this. I find that when I am busy (at work etc.) that this is the easiest environment for me to stay focused.

5. Keep busy on your days off. The busier you are, the less likely you are going to think about the fact you are going without.

6. Have Fun. Make sure you have fun, create a group of friends to do the master Cleanse with. The bigger your support group the more likely you are going to succeed. The Master Cleanse is an intense 10 days, and you may not make it through all 10 days to start with, and that’s okay! You can always do it again at another time.

7. Get a guide on helping you complete the full 10 days. I find that having something to read with tips and hints makes it alot easier to complete. A guide will also protect your health and ensure you are doing the Master Cleanse properly.

Finally, Remember it is only 10 days! If you put it into perspective, 10 days is not a long time. It’s just over a week after all.
