Understanding the ECA Stack

Ephedrine alone can help to greatly increase the metabolic rate, but also comes with a stimulation of the nervous system. Caffeine isn't an enormous help for metabolism alone, but if added to the use of Ephedrine, the combination is astounding. Aspirin will even help to reduce the stimulation effects, and is the "A" in the ECA acronym. The ECA stack is an incredible combination of Ephedrine, Caffeine, and Aspirin - which will greatly improve weight loss attempts, increase energy, and give athletes a boost in their performance.

When using the ECA stack, there are guidelines that can be followed which will provide the optimal results. In general, the ratios should be E-1 part, C-10 parts, and A-3 parts.

Example of a standard dosage chart:

• Ephedrine 20-30mg
• Caffeine 200mg (equal to roughly 2.5 cups of coffee)
• Aspirin 75mg

The best dosage and schedule will vary from person to person, as it is dependent upon body weight and the individual goals of each person. However, in no case shall the daily Ephedrine dosage go over 75-100mg. When using the ECA stack combination, it should be taken with an empty stomach. The best time to take it would be about 1hour before mealtime, but not more than 3 times daily. It should only be taken once per day when first starting an ECA stack regimen, which should be early in the day, or 30 minutes before a workout or breakfast.

When starting the ECA stack, it's recommended to start with only one dosage(recommended dosage) per day, preferably 30 minutes before your workout, 30 minutes before breakfast or first thing in the morning.

The ECA stack dosing is normally divided among several doses per day.

ECA stack usage should be cycled in and out, and not taken consistently for prolonged periods of time. Its' been shown that the andrenergenic become depressed in a week, and adrenal glands have shown fatigue. If it is continually used week after week, then the risk of a catabolic effect on muscles is greatly increased.

Over time the body will become non-responsive to the dosage it has got accustomed to. This will require dosage amounts to be increased to continue to see any results. However, it's believed that three doses daily is the most anyone should do. The last dosage of the day should be early to steer clear of sleep disturbances.

Inclusion of the ECA stack in any weight loss regimen should not last for more than 12 weeks at any given time. 12 weeks it the longest anyone should use the ECA stack daily, then they should take at least another 12 weeks off from it. If the ECA stack is taken for more than 12 weeks, the chance for addictions and other destructive side effects are increased.

On the same token, Ephedrine shouldn't be taken for long amounts of time either. Yet, the maximum time period for it is only four weeks.

While using Ephedrine, there may not be much hunger present. It's important to still keep eating enough calories through out the day. Always ensure to include enough calories each day and maintain a steady weight training program. If this isn't being done, Ephedrine will not only burn away fat but will also burn away muscle in the body. Fat loss will typically be noticeable within a few weeks, even if there isn't any diet or exercise changes. Of course it will be greatly enhanced if used with a healthy lifestyle. People using the ECA stack should realize that there are dangers involved, as the Ephedrine alone cause the heart rate to rise. Combining Ephedrine with caffeine can cause drastic changes in the body.
