Dieting is an in-thing. Young and old alike want to ape their role models who have such great looking bodies. Getting themselves to fit in clothes 3-4 sizes smaller, the need to diet arises. Some even go the extent of looking anorexic to match their idols body.

What is use of these diets if one's health deteriorates, becomes weak and looks unhealthy? So will starving help achieve the desired body shape or take you to a hospital? One does not need to go hungry, look weak and unhealthy to get a toned body and at the same keep an eye on weight loss and weight gain.

Everyone is always short on time, but wants to shed calories and maintain proper weight. Weight watchers can include these fitness ideas in your daily routine.

If gymming is not possible, make six ten min workout sessions possible throughout the day while working or watching a your favorite chat show.

Take brisk walks or jog early morning or late evening in your neighborhood. Increase the time by a minute or two till you walk or jog for total 30 minutes. Alternately you can try skipping for 10-15 minutes/day.

Take a walk in the building compound after lunch; get coffee yourself instead of any one else getting it for you. Walk through the office every hour or so.

Climb up and down the stairs briskly either at the mall, home or at work.

Indulge in outdoor recreational activities like swimming, tennis or football or enroll yourself in a dance class.

Sipping eight glasses of water throughout the day will detoxify your system.

Put on your favorite music and dance while cooking. Do housework like laundry, vacuuming or washing the car a little bit faster than your usual speed level.

Beside the above mentioned, two rules to losing and maintaining weight are:

Incorporate decent amount of exercise in your daily routine. A 30-minute of brisk morning walk, swimming or cardio done regularly for 7-8 weeks will show the difference. You will feel in shape. Getting up early too has its share of benefits. One feels fresh and relaxed and feels a rush of adrenalin whole day to tackle any matter with a smile on the face.

Snacking leads to weight gain. Eating main meals plus heavy snacks interim will make you gain more weight than losing weight. Cultivate a habit of healthy snacking instead. Foods such as fruits, coconut water, raw veggies or crackers are few examples of healthy snacking foods. Healthy snacking with proper meals will make you feel whole lot better when you weigh your self on the scales.

If you aim to maintain your weight the healthier way, you have to stay disciplined and loyal to your fitness regime. You will feel and look great having lost oodles of weight in the correct manner. The results will definitely be "healthier happier lifestyle".

Good luck and all the best!
