7 Secrets to Save Your Scrapbooking Cost

Cost saving is important for every family. Here I share my seven secrets to save your scrapbooking cost.

Secret #1 Free layout from internet.

There are a lot of free download available in the internet. Simply type free scrapbooking layout at the search engine web site, you should be able to find a list of them.

Secret #2 D.I.Y embellishment from recycle material.

Here I share some of methods I used to make embellishment. Cut out greeting cards with trendy design such as flowers or stars, use it directly as your scrapbooking embellishment. Another D.I.Y method is keep all different design or pattern of buttons from your old cloth, then make use of these buttons as your embellishment in your srapbooking.

Secret #3 Photocopy your photo instead of develop many copies from studio or self printing.

Sometime I want to keep an original copy of my photo in my album, while another same copy of the same photo I use it to scrapbooking. In this case, I will make a photocopy of the photo the my scrapbooking. With this you can save your photo development cost at the same time create a special design in your scrapbooking using the photocopy photo.

Secret #4 Reuse greeting cards.

If you receive a lot of trendy and good quality greeting cards, do not throw them away. Keep for your scrapbooking. It can be used by simply paste your photo and add some text to describe your scrapbooking theme, then your cost saving scrapbooking is done!

Secret #5 Bulk Purchase with friends or forum.

Bulk purchase from craft store with friends is a good way to save your expenses in your scrapbooking. You can combine your orders with friends. Try to find out for bulk purchase in internet scrapbooking forum to help yourself to save cost.

Secret #6 Discount Coupon.

Collect discount coupon from craft magazine or scrapbooking forum is another way of cost saving in your scrapbooking. With the discount coupon, you can purchase your scrapbook embellishment, layout paper etc at very good discounted price!

Secret #7 Collect pictures from magazine to replace stickers.

Scrapbooking stickers can be expensive. If you want to save some cost of buying too much expensive sticker, you can collect pictures from magazine and convert it into sticker in your scrapbooking.
