Building A Homemade Hovercraft?

Inspired by a recent trip on a hovercraft I decided to look into building a homemade hovercraft by myself, but didn't really know where to start or look. Sure there was information on the web but it was all pretty hard to put together.

I went looking for a guide to show me exactly how to build a simple hovercraft at first, then I'd see how well I did with my first attempt and decided from there if I wanted to build more and more.

I needed to find good solid plans and hovercraft information that I could attempt to put together as a side hobby of my own. I ended up finding a hovercraft building guide and plans that said I could build a complete and working hovercraft in as little as 12 hours!

Build A Simple Hovercraft

Building a homemade hovercraft became fun with the guide, I knew what parts to buy, I knew what plans to follow, and I could see the outcome of what I was building. I like the fact that I can also expand upon the design if I wanted a hovercraft that was more advanced also.

I completed mine in about a week working it in around my job, I would say that the total hours were about 12-15 if I added it up. It was a pure pleasure to build my own hovercraft, and the best feeling was taking it out for the first time, it worked like a charm.

If you are thinking about building a homemade hovercraft yourself, then take a look at the guide I used myself below. You probably will also come to the realization than its actually not that hard to do at all, and you wont have to pay a ton of money either.

This is the perfect project for any hovercraft enthusiast looking to build your own hovercraft, as I said before It could not be any easier to do. Just think, in under 12 hours you could be driving your hovercraft all over the lake, or road, or pond, or house:)
