Here are a few very important considerations you must take into account before you even think about setting  up a reef aquarium.

The optimal conditions for the 7 vital elements of saltwater chemistry need to be fully understood, knowing how to adjust them, and just as important, how they affect your marine aquarium inhabitants.

Knowing how to easily recognize then remedy the early warning symptoms of the most common and fatal marine fish diseases is really helpful and can save loads of money and unnecessary deaths in the reef aquarium.

The are many misunderstood factors about choosing species for your tank, that if not taken into account could end up costing you all your marine life. you can't just put any marine life in your aquarium.

There are some easy specific husbandry techniques necessary for thriving corals and invertebrates. There are fundamental keys to feeding that will result in much happier, healthier fish.

Knowing about and how to identify the many dangerous disease organisms and parasites that may be in your reef  tank that destroy corals and fish.

Algae is a big problem and deters and leads reefers to quit this hobby but this problem can be easily and cheaply overcome and rid of your tank  forever.

You need to learn  how to professionally troubleshoot the most common, potentially tragic problems you are likely to experience with your saltwater tank. Using books and the Internet for research. In this hobby you will never stop learning.
