Ideas for Creating Personalized Calendars to Give as Gifts

A personalized desk calendar is the perfect way to feel at home while away or at work. You can create a personalized calendar with any photos you want and these can contain anything that can remind you of your family, friends or pets.

If your family went away on vacation last year, and the memories are starting to fade a little, try out this idea. Make a calendar of all the great moments of your trip and put it in a place where everyone can use it while being reminded of the time spent at that location. It helps to keep the great moments of our lives fresh, and makes us aware of how important it is to create more of them. Remember the moments and make new ones every chance you get!

It gets more difficult every year to find presents for your grandparents that they can really enjoy and cherish. This year make them a calendar! A thoughtful, meaningful and useful gift can be used every day while bringing happiness every time it is viewed.

The safest subject when it comes to grandparents, are pictures of the grandkids. If the grandparents live far away, then include photos of the major parts of the grandchildren’s lives. These activities include birthday parties, school plays, athletic days, or simply riding a bike. The calendar is a special gift because of all the time and effort put into making it a great calendar. An image of the entire family is a great way to end the calendar and as it is in December, it often works well to give it a Christmas theme.

Other Options

You may not be the greatest animal lover but it is a guarantee that you know someone who is! You know the person, the type who has photos of their pets everywhere, on their desk, on walls, literally everywhere! The personalized calendar is the perfect idea for them. Even in this day and age, where technology is everywhere, there is still often a need for a wall or desk calendar.

For those who love dogs, find some photos of their “best friends” doing everything from catching a Frisbee to chasing birds or just sleeping on the kitchen floor. Then you can begin making the perfect calendar. This can remind your friend of that thing which brings them such joy, but this does not just have to be for your friends, if your child has a new pet, or the family has an established and much-loved pet, then make a calendar for home and hang it on the kitchen refrigerator or another prominent location.

Do you belong to a book club, scrap booking group, quilting society or just a group of close friends that you see every week to catch up, or the sister you never had? Well the personalized calendar is a great gift for any occasion. You can do it as a group or just create one by yourself for the whole group. No ideas for the themes can vary, you can have individuals for each month, with caption such as Miss June etc, or you can have group events that have been shared, that can be a great way remind them of the past and create inspiration for the future. What is essential in this gift is to captivate the tone and energy of the group, or highlight the individuality of its members.

Business

Do you have a small business? Perhaps a hobby that you are currently expanding into your career, but still is not at the full-fledged advertising point. If this is the case, you can make a calendar displaying your best works, or pictures of people using your products. This can be a great way to get your product out there to help bring in more business for your new company.

Give these calendars to local businesses, to help increase your business visibility, and get people talking about you and your products. This is a great method for you, and is cheap effective pinpoint marketing that is not intrusive and this is a definite bonus. You can also generate plenty of goodwill among the recipients of your calendars, simply because everyone loves getting something free of charge.

Calendars are useful, thoughtful gifts but more importantly, they are fun to make and a great creative outlet. So make yours today, for anyone and everyone. The options are endless because you can make a calendar with a number of different themes. It largely comes down to the recipient and their interests. You can create a calendar with images of your pets, grandchildren and even the family. These are all excellent topics for creating a calendar and they can all remind the recipient of what they like best.
