So i have been to a few beaches in my time. I am a south african so i'm no stranger to perfect swells and UV rays. the beaches in durban and umhlanga have their own feel and character to it and are amongst the best in the world for tourists and locals alike.
The beaches i'm now talking about are of a different nature all together. The colour of the sand will make you tihnk ur walking on a carpet that compensates for your every movement. The colour of it reflecting more light off the sand to brighten your day that much more. the quiet ceal ocean will distract your for hours while you relax in your hammock being waited on by diligent and courteous staff. My memories of family holidays were only of pure bliss throught my 10 day stay in the resort. Sure we were there with hundred other people but we felt at peace on our own beach. Snorkelling and boat rides out are the daily activities and there is a learning centre for all marine life, the islands flora and fauna are also fascinating for the youngsters.
A beach holiday isn't just any vacation. one must really cherish the moments spent with loved ones on such occasions. its not long before there are no more opportunites to have the whole family together. Take those photos and send them far and wide, but keep the scrap book open to refresh your mind from a better time where for a few days or weeks you only had each other.
