A Different Drink for Every Day of the Week

Everyone has a favorite drink—one they consume at least once every day. Whether your particular "poison" is black coffee or sweet iced tea, you might be getting a little worn out with the repetition of your daily drink. To help out, we've devised a "Drink for Every Day" schedule, which advises a different drink for every day of the week. (We're not including alcohol or "fru-fru" drinks—this is strictly a list of typical "every day" drinks.) Mixing things up a bit with a different drink every day could help bring you out of a monotonous slump and rejuvenate your spirit.

Monday: Iced Coffee

No matter how hectic or relaxed your schedule is, the first day of the work week can be tough if you aren't properly motivated. A nice chilly coffee will help to give you just the zing you need to nail that business proposal or make your deliveries on schedule. You're probably thinking that buying an iced coffee every week isn't very budget-wise. Don't worry—you can easily make your own iced coffee at home.

Start off by making your normal cuppa joe, only a bit stronger. For instance, if you normally use one tablespoon per cup, use one and a half for your iced coffee. While your coffee is hot, add sugar or sweetened condensed milk. You can also use flavored coffee syrups such as vanilla, Irish cream, and hazelnut. Let the coffee cool to room temperature, then put it in the fridge to chill (it's best if you let it chill overnight). When your coffee is cold, pour over ice, add milk or cream, and even a little whipped cream on top, if you like. Then—enjoy!

Tuesday: Orange Julius

Now that Monday is over, Tuesday calls for a little celebration and stimulation to get you through the rest of the week. Orange Julius is a great way to make your Tuesday a little festive, plus you can make your own at home after a long day of work or raising the kids!

In your blender, add 6 ounces of frozen concentrated orange juice, 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Blend for a minute or two, adding about 10 ice cubes one at a time as you blend. Drink cold.

Wednesday: Earl Grey Tea

If you've never had the pleasure of experiencing a hot cup of Earl Grey tea, you're missing out on one of the most delicious teas around! Earl Grey has a distinct flavor and aroma that is caused by the presence of oil derived from Bergamot orange rind. Add some sugar and just a little milk and you've got a mellow cuppa that will boost your endurance for the rest of the week!

Thursday: Iced Peach Tea

When 3pm hits, nothing sits better than a nice cold glass of peach tea. Whether you like your iced tea sweetened or not, the soothing peach flavor provides a homey-type of comfort. The easiest way to make this is to purchase peach-flavored tea bags from your local grocer and make your iced tea as usual. After your drink it, you may just find that Friday doesn't seem that far away!

Friday: Spiced Chai Tea

Chai tea has been a favorite of many Eastern countries, particularly India. It's a strong black tea spiced with cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, pepper, and ginger. You can make this either hot or cold, but it is traditionally sweetened and diluted with milk. Chai can be purchased in regular tea bag form, however you can also purchase "Chai latte" in a powdered form. These usually just require 1 packet of chai powder and hot water. What better way to kick off the weekend than with a creamy spiced drink?

Saturday: Peppermint Tea

This is an excellent cuppa to follow a relaxed lunch. Not only does the peppermint help your stomach settle after a meal, but it provides an inner boost that seems to refresh the entire body. Peppermint tea is very flexible; it tastes great with or without sugar and doesn't require any milk to soften it, as it's already a very light tea.

Sunday: Chamomile Tea

This is a very calm tea that will work wonders on your nerves before bed—especially with Monday coming up. It is such a light tea that you don't even have to add any milk—just sugar, if you like. There are several variations of Chamomile tea, some plain, others with added flavors and spices. Celestial Seasonings is just one of many popular companies who specialize in teas, and they have a great selection of Chamomile tea flavors, including: Honey Vanilla Chamomile, Cinnamon Apple Spice, and Tension Tamer.

By simply switching up your routine with a different drink every day, the monotony of your daily routine is sure to be shaken. Even if you substitute some of the drinks in the "drink schedule," you can still give yourself something to look forward to every day of the week.

So then how should you arrange your photographs? It relies on the flow of your scrapbook. As previously said if you do a book in chronological order, commence with the photographs you will use first, such as your baby's first year. If you have a hundred or more footage, a pile could be out of the question. Standard pictures fit into zip lock bags, so utilize them. In accordance with chronological order, label each bag with the year.
