A Greener Option In Grow Light Systems

Many indoor gardeners are looking for ways to cut energy consumption.  Greenhouses require a great deal of energy to run the lights, fans, heaters and all the myriad other equipment needed to keep the greenhouse functioning properly.  That electrical cost can definitely add up over time.  Many people find that there is a greener solution for grow light systems, and that is with LED grow lighting.  Although the initial cost for LED grow lighting is a bit higher than for traditional lights, the system saves a tremendous amount of money because of its efficient function, saving you money over the operational life of the LED grow lighting.

There are two innovative lights that are taking gardening grow light systems by storm, and they are the Supernova LED light and the UFO LED light.

Supernova LED Light

The Supernova offers 270 watts of bright light for your plants, and creates a brighter light than a 2,000 watt high intensity discharge, or HID, light.  Although the Supernova LED light uses seven different circuit boards to shine light at various angles to achieve the best light coverage for your plants, it only uses a fraction of the electricity needed to run a comparably sized high pressure sodium grow lamp, thus saving you money in operating costs.  The light comes in both a standard and enhanced spectrum version.  Both are great for growing plants, but the enhanced spectrum light is a superior product for when you want to induce your plants to flower, and LED lighting is the only light source being used.  The light color spectrum can be adjusted easily by turning the two knobs that are built in.  The light comes ready to plug in and use, so no wiring is required.

UFO LED Light

The UFO LED light, which can be used as LED hydroponic grow lights, uses only eighty watts of electricity.  For these few watts and reduced electricity consumption, it produces bright light, more than is produced by a four hundred watt high pressure sodium HID light.  Because it uses so little electricity, the UFO LED light also produces much less heat than traditional grow lamps.  This helps you save money in an additional way, because the LED light comes with three built-in thermostatically controlled whisper quiet fans, which keep the light cool, thereby avoiding the cost of additional fans and ducting used in a typical greenhouse situation.  The light in these types of grow light systems uses only the color spectrums that plants need, so plants respond with rapid growth, there is no setup needed to operate the lamp, and it lasts for over 80,000 hours.

For all these benefits, including green ones, indoor gardeners choose LED grow light systems.

These are not hard-and-fast rules, just general guidelines, however. Nonetheless, careful consideration should be given to the choice of these particular picture frames supplies; the picture frame mouldings should blend in with the décor of the room and should compliment the image being framed, not detract from it.

Secondly, consider the setting in which the completed, framed work will be displayed. What is the décor like? Is it traditional or contemporary? Metal frames are fine for the latter, but wood picture frames with an unobtrusive stain work best in most other situations.
