Alone-less than half
It could be an arranged marriage. It could be a love marriage. It could be a couple who have started living as husband and wife. Once they unite in marriage, they become one and now onward they become one. This is the tradition in all the societies and people all over the world have accepted this truth of life. In the West they call a wife better half and in the east she may be having no identity or she may be considered as the domestic servant of the husband. But still she is called ' ardhaangni' means half of the man.
Actually they become one after marriage and if one is not happy the other cannot remain happy. when a man is not working properly or is not behaving properly at work place, the others immediately start saying that this man had a quarrel at the house and that too with his wife and when a daughter comes back to the house of her parents, they immediately understand that there had been something wrong between husband and wife. They are one and therefore, they must keep this unity in their heart too because happiness of each one depends on the happiness of the other.
The man and the woman must be thankful to those who had established this institution of marriage because prior to the establishment of this institution there was no concept of home. After the establishment of marriage institution this home system came into being and the couple started giving birth to children and then they are busy in bringing up these children, giving them proper education, proper training and they ensure that the children get proper work from where they could bring proper income with which they should be able to establish a family and only then they arrange marriages of these children. And all these efforts are made by husband and wife jointly and with cooperation of each other. If they are divided and if they are not one in all these ventures the children shall suffer. Where the parents are not one the children do not get proper bringing up, proper education, proper training and proper adjustment in life and when parents are fighting each other daily, then the children shall be getting so many mental and psychological problems and even expert doctors and psychologists would not be able to cure these children.
This marriage brought unity of two people and they should become one. The must love each other. They must have regard and respect for each other. They should have common interests and common goals. They must be one in heart and in mind. they must obey each other. They must take each other equal and none should claim superiority in the family. They must have trust and faith in each other. They must be sincere to each other. They must be able to give suggestions and guidance and they must be able to work together. They must be longing to meet each other and they must be having a satisfied sex life. The husband should concentrate on his wife and the wife must be having only one man and he is her husband. If they are one, no one on earth can win them and could overpower them. The man shall be efficient at his work place and he shall be getting promotions after promotions and he shall be increasing his income so that he could be able to face all the situations in his family life. And similarly the wife shall be ready to face all the challenges and the children shall also be psychologically sound. Therefore, after marriage, husband and wife should become one outwardly and inwardly and they should not have an eye on others who could be attracting them.
