Silk satin is for sure one of our most beloved types of fabrics. It is by far the fabric that has the most glow to it and its softness next to our skin is unbeatable. Satin in itself is simply a special weaving technique and is not necessarily made out of silk. Yet, combining the qualities of satin with the natural shimmer and glow of silk makes it an outstanding fabric.

Even though satin that has been made out of synthetics may give you that feeling of softness, you will soon regret using it since you most likely end up sweating and in discomfort. This doesn't happen when you are using silk satin. Instead you can experience a fresh, almost cooling sensation. This is why it also is great to use when the climate is a bit warmer.
