Brinkman has been in the business of making grills and other outdoor leisure equipment for the past thirty years. They have an assorted array of products that range from outdoor lighting to boating equipment and pet products. But their best sellers have always been the outdoor cookers, in particular the grills. There are two categories of grills that Brinkmann sells. The gas grills and the charcoal smokers and grills. For this product review, we decided to concentrate on Brinkmann Grills that are of the gas variety.
Brinkmann grills are not as expensive as its leading competitor the Weber grills, though they offer almost the same features and on some particular models, even more. They also have a couple of extra features such as warming racks and a side burner on the side of most Brinkmann models. Little things such as a bottle opener, beverage holder and utensil racks are a welcome addition to these grills considering that they are measured to be on the budget priced category.
But performance wise, many consumers have complained of it not being so efficient when it comes to grilling. And durability has been questioned a number of times because of faulty ignitions and porcelain pieces easily breaking off. There are some models that have gained favorable reviews for its price class such as the four-burner 810-8410-S. and although Brinkmann offers a warranty, it is limited so between ordering extra parts and repair costs, this grill may not be as affordable as it seems in the long run.
