Caregiver Agency
A Caregiver agency is an alternative to nursing home facilities and helps in recovery, relieving anxieties, and stress and offers companion care in a familiar environment. Most agencies provide skilled caregivers for elderly or disabled persons wishing to stay in their own homes. Once the families choose a caregiver it is required that the agency provide the same caregiver throughout the contractual period.
There are options to choose in for twenty-four hour live-in care or hourly/daily care services. Sometimes a whole service package or selecting only the services needed is available as an option that best fits the needs of the employer-families. Replacements are always available.
These agencies generally provide non-medical, reasonably priced specialized services for individuals or couples who require part or full time care. Some of the caregivers might have medical knowledge based on the requirement of the ailment. The caregivers from the Caregiver agencies are capable of looking after patients after strokes, surgery, with cancer, arthritis, diabetes, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and many other diseases that need special professional care. They also work with the Hospice Association.
Who could be the caregivers?
The caregivers may be: teachers, substitute teachers, day care workers, active grandparent, mother, nanny, babysitter, nurse, and family care providers.
There are placement agencies for caregivers, also called Caregiver agencies. Some offer both full-time and part-time permanent and temporary nanny placements for childcare.
