Usually the home and garden of a person are the place to relax and they are their hideaway. This is because the home is in general the place where a person or a family lives. Therefore one spends much of the time their. Furthermore a home is usually the place where a person is comfortable being. A home can be a house or an apartment. In general for most people their home is often also their place of refuge and safety. There they can focus on things and people they love and the worldly cares usually fade. As humans are generally creatures of habit, the state of a person’s home has a physiological influence on their behaviour, emotions and the overall mental health. The term home is often also used by the real-estate industry in order to suggest that the item being sold already has the emotional attributes of a home even before the purchasers actually buy it and move in.
A further place to relax is the garden. A lot of people enjoy it to be outside and to do something. This activity of growing and maintaining the garden is an often used form to relax. There are people who have a garden that is connected to their houses or others that have a separated garden. Most of the people who have a garden use this not only to plant something or to have their own flowers, fruits and vegetables etc.; they also use the gardening as compensation to their job. Even if gardening is a hard job, they usually enjoy it.
