You know that your spouse is seeing somebody else -- you see all of the telltale signs that your husband, or wife, is cheating on you, but you can't quite come up with the definitive proof that you need so that you can confront them on their infidelity. While it is generally recommended that you do, in fact, have proof of cheating before you make any accusations, what can you do to catch a cheating spouse -- in the act, or before-or-after the fact?

As many people might guess, one of the best ways to catch a cheating spouse is by hiring a private investigator. They can provide the absolute proof that you need so that you can confront your spouse on their infidelity. As today's world is built up of high-tech gadgetry, and there are an unlimited number of online opportunities for cheaters to practice their deceit on the internet, the natural progression of the spy-like investigative services of old is to utilize today's technologies, and services, to perform these types of investigations. Today, you can hire an investigator, or an investigative service, to rebuild your spouse's cell-phone activity, even if it has been deleted, and these services can also trace your spouse's online activities using only their email address.

As an example, if your spouse frequents married-but-dating websites, they can likely be tracked. If your spouse uses adult chat services, these can likely be tracked. Taking this even further -- some investigative services can catch a cheating spouse in the act -- they will setup a profile, interact with your spouse if your spouse is found to be using online services to cheat, and the investigator can compile the proof you need to finally confront your spouse about their cheating ways.

As most people know, hiring a private investigator is a great way to catch a cheating spouse. However, sometimes the best way to catch a cheater is to use the very technology that they are using to cheat on you, to catch them in the act.
