How I use my garden room

Like me, many people enjoy their gardens and a garden room is a nice place from which to enjoy it. If you have a wildlife rich garden, you may like to enjoy watching the huge variety of different species that visit. I like nothing better than to sit in my garden room and watch the birds coming and going. It is particularly satisfying during the summer months when they are raising young as they bring their fledgling offspring into my garden to find food. There is usually a vast range of insect life during the spring and summer and to watch how the species interact and use my garden is fascinating. It has also been very educational for my children who share my interest in the natural world.

Using Your Garden All Year Round

We use our garden room all year round, it is not just used during the summer. It is a large single room one which has been well constructed, has double glazing and is insulated so that we can heat it economically during the winter when we want to make use of it. We also have electricity installed and have a couple of radiators to keep it warm and if any of us want to work from it, then we can pick up our home wifi on the laptop computer. The children like to use it as a quiet place to study and I work part time from home, so it is a useful place for us all to work in peace and quiet.

We had our garden room installed three years ago and now I often wonder what we did before we had it. We have had so much fun and pleasure from it that I would definitely recommend one to anyone. They are great if you are entertaining as we sometimes have a barbeque and invite friends over. The garden room is a great base for these get togethers and we bring everything we need out to it before our guests arrive. I also make use of it during good weather when I have friends round for coffee and we can all sit in it and enjoy the garden.

Garden Rooms Come in all Shapes & Sizes

A garden room has so many uses and they come in so many shapes and sizes. From a compact one room version to a 2 or 3 room one, there is something for everyone. Also, you can have your garden room serviced with electricity, water and phone or broadband, so you could turn it into a study or home office. A garden room has many leisure uses and can be used for anything from a children's playroom to a home gym or just as a quiet place of relaxation. The one piece of advice I would give anyone thinking about buying a garden room, is to make sure you purchase one from a reputable manufacturer and that it has a good guarantee. This will ensure that it will be well constructed from high quality materials. So what would you do with yours?
