Use Dry Carpet Cleaning Equipment to Avoid Messy Liquids

Looking for a mean of cleaning your carpets without all the liquid chemicals, which can cause spots to reappear as it dries, you may consider dry carpet cleaning equipment as a dryer, cleaner alternative.

While the cleaners used in dry carpet cleaning equipment may still be wet, they generally use a carbonating cleaner to remove stains. Similar to using a club soda on stains in clothing, these carbonating cleaners are used sparingly to break down the dirt and stains in a carpet and are then extracted to be virtually dry immediately after cleaning.

A company called ChemDry, www.chemdry.com, has perfected this method of cleaning and several franchises are locate throughout the company to help make their dry carpet cleaning equipment available for cleaning your carpets. You can have it cleaned in the morning and use it that night.

No Soapy Liquids Left Behind

Typical carpet cleaners use water and liquid detergents to clean. What really happens is that they leave a wet soapy residue to dry on the rug. This wetness becomes a main attraction for dirt and often pulls dirt from under the rug to bring stains to the surface. Another company using dry carpet cleaning equipment is at www.drycarpet.com which uses Swedry cleaners of clean and leave the carpet dry in a matter of minutes.

Since nearly all carpet dirt, an estimated 85 percent, can be removed by vacuuming, this process uses a moistened granular cleaner to get to remaining 15 percent, usually comprised of grease and oils. Using dry carpet cleaning equipment the rug is thoroughly vacuumed before the granules are applied. They break down and absorb the oily dirt and then are vacuumed up with the dry carpet cleaning equipment and removed.

Because the granules are moistened and not wet, the carpet is ready for use at about the same time the dry carpet cleaning equipment is done doing its job. The big secret to dry carpet cleaning equipment is the vacuuming process. By removing all loose dirt from a carpet with a quality vacuum cleaner before using any dry carpet cleaning equipment increase your chance of success at achieving a cleaner, healthier carpet.

While some people insist a carpet isn't clean unless it has been saturated with wet chemical cleaners, dry carpet cleaning is fast becoming a trend. The ability to clean only a high traffic section of a carpet and blend it in with the rest of the areas or reducing downtime associated with wet carpet cleaning, dry carpet cleaning equipment use is growing at a rapid pace.

The original article here is a very good one and has no misleading in it. However, it did one thing that I always expect when I see a good post like this. It brings out a personal attack directed at the author without any refute to the information in the article. So, it is obvious that the responder was upset at the posting because he is most definitely a truckmount ONLY person. But, in the article he also displays that he is not professional by a long shot.

The author claims this statement: "While some people insist a carpet isn't clean unless it has been saturated with wet chemical cleaners". This is typical nonsense that any unexperienced person would say! Professional Carpet Cleaners do not saturate carpets with wet chemical cleaners. Your typical "one tool in the tool box carpet cleaner" will try & convince you that his only method is the best of course, human nature to be ignorant of what you do not know or have & speak as an expert on.

This statement from the author is classic: "dry carpet cleaning
is fast becoming a trend." It has been around since the 50's & it is now becoming a trend because it requires very simple & cheap equipment, very low overhead on the carpet cleaner & very little labor. Any smart businessman would want to pimp the heck out of this form of cleaning to get all he can out of it, unless he has a conciense!

Today's Truckmounted Steam Cleaners have state of the art equipment that costs them thousands of dollars, carpets do not get saturated, in fact I get carpets dry by the time I leave & they are clean! Dry cleaning has never bend a growing trend, in fact those consumers who have tried it usually never go back to it once they have seen how it is done or the results.

Here is a real challenge to consider. Take a spray bottle with shampoo in it & spray all over your hair, now take a wash towel & try cleaning your hair. How much dirt did you remove? How much residue was left in it? Okay, lets take the powder type cleaner, sprinkle that into your hair & brush it in & then vacuum it out.

It's common sense, Truckmount steam cleaning is recommended by those who manufacture your carpet for one very smart reason - it makes sense! It cleans!

Now, if you don't believe me then call your favorite Dry carpet Cleaner to clean your carpet & ask him if he would not mind to have the Truckmount carpet cleaner to come in the next day & clean after him. Ask him if he removes sand, grit & black water will he refund your money to you!

Why has Chem-Dry gone to Truckmount carpet cleaning?????? Oh, wait, they re-named it so it would not be hypocritical, the fact is that consumers caught on to the poor results of the dry clean process, with all the fear & un-true marketing claims that water is evil it would be stupid to come out & say we were wrong, right?

Just a little common sense here.

Lets, talk CHEMICAL RESIDUE! Truckmount Steam Cleaning rinses out all cleaning solution residues. Since Dry Cleaning has almost nill extraction capabilities guess what stays in your carpet besides all that dirt that you wanted removed - that's right, CHEMICAL RESIDUE.
