Are You Buying MLM Leads? 4 Pitfalls to Know Before You Buy

When starting out in your business one of your FIRST challenges is finding people to talk to.  There are several ways to go about finding prospects including, approaching your warm marketing of friends and family, generating leads of your own or buying MLM leads.

 

The truth is sooner or later everyone runs out of friends and family to talk to, and generating your own leads can be every expensive and time consuming.

 

So purchasing biz op leads is a practical short term solution to your prospecting challenges.

 

While purchasing MLM leads is an easy thing to do, it does come with some MAJOR DRAWBACKS.

 

Drawback #1: 

 

They can be very expensive.  I know people who spend $5 per lead.  I know, that doesn’t sound like a lot of money.  But what if I told you that to really build your network marketing business, you need to be marketing to 200 to 300 leads each month.

 

Most people just don’t have $1000 or $1500 each month to spend on leads.

 

Drawback #2: 

 

You have to continue to buy them on a regular basis.  Remember, when you no longer have potential customers to market to, then your business stops growing.

 

Drawback #3:

 

You have to share.  Sharing things, in pre-school is a good thing.  But sharing leads?  Not such a great idea.

 

Many leads companies will sell the same lead to you AND 30 other marketers.  This means you end up calling the same person that has already been hounded by some other person a few minutes ago.

 

What do you think the chances of closing that sale are?  Probably very slim.

 

Drawback#4: 

 

They are not targeted enough.  In most cases leads brokers have to advertise to a broad audience so that their product (the network marketing leads) can appeal to a broad range of network marketers.

 

Broad is a dirty word when you are talking about network marketing.  We have to target your market so that we are talking to only people who are MOST interested and in MOST need of what we have to offer.

 

Are There ANY BENEFITS To Buying Leads?

 

The simple answer is YES there are lots of benefits.

 

Remember everything in life comes with its pros and cons.  And buying leads is no different.

 

THE BIGGEST BENEFIT TO BUYING LEADS is that it gives you the chance to practice.

 

Practice What?

 

Well a leads subscription gives you a continuous flow of prospects to practice talking to. 

 

And the more you practice talking to your prospects, the more you understand them and  the better you get at converting those leads into paying customers and downline members.

 

With a little training and a LOT of practice you will soon be converting your MLM leads into paying customers and downline.
