But if you just started you want to know step by step what to do or become insane with the amount of information that is available. Once your website is making money, you can double and triple what it makes. You need then to grow your business more by starting a list, an affiliate program and invest in things like affiliate submission software to get a lot of affiliates, video marketing software and other tools and software to automate your business while making more money.
You add backends, which means create more products, from an ebook maybe membership site, or some video or audio products, which you sell to your list, to current customers and current visitors. Audio and video products are easy to create. You just require a software to create them.
So you have ONE website that grows into a business. It is important to choose your niche well, because if you do, you will love creating new products, and it is easier to find ideas.
Like I mentioned you just have to digg deeper to find out how to do each step. For example there are books you can buy that help you create product ideas easily.
So the first two months you do SEO (search engine optimization) on your website, since it is free or very low cost method to get traffic, then money starts coming, and when you build a business money doubles, triples and so forth.
You only need one website as well. Once you grow it into a business, you have experience and can manage multiple websites at once successfully.
I did not give you exact amounts you make, but reaching a level that a website is a business means from 4 to 5 figure income per month. You need to remember also, that you can then invest thanks to the money you are making into paid marketing methods, like ezine advertising or hiring a copywriter and much more.
There are also many ways to market then, like joint ventures thanks to the list you build.
So if you want to start making money online, those are proven methods to at least start doing something and start seeing some results. You, yourself will grow at the same time.

When you become an affiliate, you will be given a unique link with a tracking code. In your advertising, you will send people to that link. This unique code will ensure that all the sales will be properly credited to you.
Sell Advertising
If you have a website that gets a lot of visitors, you can sell advertising on it. Other companies will pay you for advertising space on your site, just like they pay to advertise in magazines and newspapers.
That's how all those "free websites" make money - they sell advertising. Free content attracts a lot of visitors. The higher is the number of people who visit the website, the more money you can make from advertising.
