If you are not building a list of subscribers then you are really missing the boat. This is one of the ways to create long term income. How do you build a list? First thing you need is an autoresponder like Aweber; Getresponse; Monster Response. After setting up your autoresponder you will need to create a Squeeze page to collect your email names. You should always offer a freebie on your squeeze page to entice your subscribers to sign up. Give away an E-book, report, ecourse etc... Once you have a list you can then promote any product you want and make extra money.
Most important thing to remember in list building is to create trust with your subscribers. Once you have their trust they will buy just about anything from you. Having a list will really boost your business to the next level.
Boost Your Business Strategy #3: PPC Advertising
Are you using Pay-Per-Click (PPC) in your advertising efforts? This particular technique is one that you will need to pay for so make sure you have set up a budget to absorb the cost. The two biggest engines to advertise in are Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing. You can set up account at either anywhere from $5 to $30 to start. If you are not familiar with PPC then here it is in a nutshell. You put together an add, choose keywords to promote add, and then once someone clicks on your ad you pay for that click. You decide what you pay per click in your ad setup. It would be super if you could get the number 1 spot on Google for only 0.01 per click but that is just not possible. If you want to see examples of PPC just go to Google and type in any thing you like and look at the right hand side of the page. All of those ads are people advertising utilizing PPC.
PPC advertising can send you immediate traffic in as little as 15 minutes if the campaign is set up right. There are a lot of different techniques to use and remember to have a profitable campaign. Once you have a lucrative campaign going it will definitely boost your business and your wallet.
Boost Your Business Strategy #4: Traffic Exchanges
Using a traffic exchange the right way will bring you a lot of free traffic. Most people don't like using traffic exchanges because they think they suck. If they were to use them right they would love the extra free traffic they provide. How do you use a traffic exchange? The best way is to advertise your squeeze page and build your list. Most marketers are trying to advertise their affiliate link and it doesn't convert very well. You see the other marketers that a viewing these pages have about 10 - 20 seconds to view a page before going to the next one so they can build up credits to show their own website. So you have to grab their attention quickly. Most marketers will have several tabs open on their browser and be surfing 4 or 5 TE's.
You have to remember that most marketers want to make money not spend it. So if you give them an opportunity to be able to earn more money and it is free then you are going to do fine. Some of the better traffic exchanges are: TopSurfer; Traffic Swarm; Dragon Surf; I Love Hits and Hit 2 Hit. Utilizing the traffic exchange wisely will fill your wallet and also boost your business.
Boost Your Business Strategy #5: Ezine Advertising
This is one of the most under used techniques that I have seen. Using Ezines to advertise is great for building your website traffic. The reason being is that most ezines go to many members of a particular ezine and they read all of it. You can advertise on an ezine for little money. Maybe a top spot would cost you $20.00. Suppose that Ezine went out to 150,000 subscribers. How many new people do you think would click on your ad? Some ezines don't even charge for ads. Go to Google and search on "ezine advertising". This is a small price to pay to boost your business to the next level.
