Does 'luck' Play a Role in Network Marketing

So does luck play a role in marketing?  Well for the 97% that fail at network marketing I guess not. But seriously why not, better yet is there such a thing?  It sure seems that the wealthy people are sure lucky in most everything they do, doesn’t it?

We read about it everyday it seems that this fortunate thing happened to this person and this millionaire just found a fortune here etc.  So really what is it?

It certainly can’t be that gamblers are getting wealthy at casinos.  Have you ever seen these places?  Beautiful building, state of the art technology, hotels, bars and restaurants galore, sure doesn’t seem like the gamblers are winning to me.

The lottery has bigger losers after folks win than before they even buy tickets.  I believe that statistics show that after 5 years, 90% of lottery winners are worse off financially than before they won.

So does luck play a role in building wealth and more importantly does it play a role in building our network marketing business.  I believe you have to ask yourself that if there is such a thing as a ‘mistress of money’ where she would hang out.

In studying natural law and how if effects our world, one has to conclude that luck is a quick term of the combination of several natural laws.  The law of attraction, law of abundance, participation and expectation are all in effect everyday, we must put ourselves in the path of success and let these laws bring ‘luck’ upon us.

The way most people think of ‘luck’ can not happen within natural law.  So ‘luck’ in the sense of being at the perfect spot at the perfect time sole by chance really can not happen.

People who seem ‘lucky’ actually put themselves in a position of high probability that ‘luck’ seems to come their way.

Let me explain in the sense of network marketing.  Those guys “on stage” are successful not due to luck, they are successful because of the massive amount of people they are sending their message to.  You as a net worker are basically delivering the message for them at YOUR cost, whether that is time, effort, energy and most likely your wallet. 

Worse yet is that the only way for you to succeed this way is totally by ‘luck’, which as we have discussed does not exist until we change our meaning or understanding of ‘luck’.

If we want to term these natural law phenomena’s as discussed above, fine but we have to understand all the things that go into ‘luck’ and then we will likely call it something akin to marketing and not ‘luck’.

Now we can not go into an understanding of natural law here that is for other articles some of which I have written that can be easily found on the internet.  But natural law works like the “law of gravity”, you can’t see it, taste it or smell it but these laws are in effect everyday, all day.

People who seem lucky have used their talents to leverage natural law in their favor to in effect seem ‘lucky’, but what they have really done is positioned themselves well enough for everything that they ask for they receive.

Okay so how do you do that for Network Marketing?   That’s extremely involved but

Will give you 5 steps here to start building a down line that will in effect make you look ‘lucky.’

1. Learn about Natural Law


2. Understand that Marketing (networking or otherwise) is all a numbers game


3. Surround yourself with good mentors – feast off of others knowledge – saves an incredible amount of time, effort and energy.


4. Stop blaming and start learning and improving oneself


5. Don’t say I can’t or I won’t – Keep your dreams alive and they will come true
