3. Deliver that value in exchange for the money
4. A way to accept the money
Something of value to offer for money could take the form of an info product that you have created around a hot topic. Of course, you would need to do some basic market research to find out what the hot topics are, but a quick glance at eBay or Amazon.com should point you in the right direction. Put it up on a website and you are in business.
From there you will want to build out other monetization strategies. For instance, you might find a network marketing opportunity that provides a product or service that fits into your niche. Or you may find several affiliate programs that also fit the bill. And of course, don't overlook the possibility of selling advertising on your site.
But what if you don't want a website? That is fine. As long as you have a way for people to find out about you and what you do. That is what matters.
That leads up to the next thing you need to earn executive income from home: someone willing to give you money. You simply must have customers or clients or you may as well not be in business at all.
Who are the people who would most likely be interested in what you have to offer? Perhaps someone you know. Or someone they know. The best way to find out is to ask around. You would be surprised at how many people in your immediate circle would want to buy something from you, even if it is just to help you get started.
From there, you can use local and online social networking to expand your sphere of influence. As long as your number one goal is to provide value, people will flock to you. Give out free information. Help people. Buy from them if they are in business, too. Do whatever it takes to build a loyal following of people who know, like, and trust you. Within that group there will invariably be someone willing to give you money.
Once you have found plenty of people willing to give you money, it is time to deliver that value in exchange for the money. And when I say deliver, I mean over-deliver. Wow them. Make it a total win-win. You will have them coming back for more. Plus, they will send their friends to you as an added bonus.
Last on our list is a way to accept the money. This is probably the easiest of all. You can choose to accept only cash. Or you may want to consider opening a merchant account to accept credit cards. It is your choice. Either way, make sure that you have a system in place ahead of time to prevent any kind of awkwardness when it comes time for the money to change hands.
Of course, these are just the basics. But once you have them in place, your dreams of earning an executive income from home are that much closer to becoming a reality.
