However, the paid survey company itself should never charge you in order for you to get paid for doing surveys. The opposite is true: they should pay you. This is why you'd want to take their surveys, to get paid for taking the surveys, and not the other way round.
Also, you can search for yourself paid survey companies to sign up with. You can find plenty of them. But paid survey directory sites have them already organized for you.
There are international paid survey companies that have offers for you to take paid surveys outside the US as well. You can find Canada paid surveys or paid surveys in the UK or Australia or other countries. You can get paid taking those surveys. Some paid surveys are only for USA residents. So make sure you understand if you qualify for the paidsurveys.
Also, before you take a survey, you'll often get "screener" surveys to complete. Those are short ones, to fill in your basic info, to determine whether you qualify for the longer surveys. Some will pay you for the screeners as well, and some will enroll you in drawings to win cash for taking the surveys.
Others won't pay you for the screeners, which have only a few questions and don't take much time to complete. If you match up and qualify for the real online paid surveys, you can get invitations in your E-mail to get paid to complete a survey. Do complete it, because you can not only get paid but also be registered as a more valued survey taker and get more surveys to complete and get paid for them.
Joining a survey company, make sure they're legitimate paid survey websites, and not paid survey scams that can rip you off.
