Home Base Franchise Entrepreneurs, I Hold The Secret & I Bet You Can’t Wait To See What It Really Is

What does it take to become a success in the home based franchise industry?  What is the secret formula, if there is a secret formula, in the home based franchise...and who actually has it?  You may be asking these questions of yourself and of the present company that you are currently aligned with. 

I actually know the answers to those questions and will share them with you in one minute.  But before I do, I have a question to ask of you...What are you trying to accomplish in your home based franchise?  Are you trying to just plain old sell your products and your business opportunity for the success and money that you are looking for or are you trying give value to others and actually earn the success and income that you are looking for?

There is a huge difference between making a sale and earning success.  One will actually make you more money than you can possibly dream of and the other will leave you like the rest of the 97% of failures in the home based franchise industry.

Making a sale is such a small part of your total success.  When you set your daily goals with the intention of having true accomplishment, true success, you will be taking the action that you need to take at a much higher level than if you are out to make a quick sale and a quick buck.  You will be setting the bar higher for yourself and that higher bar is going to be what puts you at the top 3-5% of any home based franchise that you partner with.    That’s right...it’s the action that is the huge secret, coupled with a few additional helping hands.

Nothing happens, no leads, no sales, no residual income will happen in any home based franchise unless and until you decide to make it happen.  

Action requires a certain degree of risk.  I write and speak about this quite frequently:  Success requires you being Willing and being Able to take whatever action that is needed to be the success that you want to be.  It all comes down to:  Are You Willing and Are You Able to take the action necessary to get you to where you want to go? 

Success requires action and everyone measures their success and actions in different ways.  Your dream of your greatest success probably will not be the same as my dream of my greatest success. 

 I revealed that the secret to success in your home based franchise is action….and a few helping hands.   Let’s talk a bit about those helping hands.

• It helps to be associated with quality products and a quality marketing education system.  Without the combination of the two, long term success and achievement in any home based franchise will be hard to find if not impossible

• It helps to create value for others in all that you do.  When you create your value and give to others you will always receive ten-fold in return.  As you increase your value to others, you will become the leader, you will be sought, you will be the expert and the success in your home based franchise will come to you automatically.

• It helps to create your value to others on a daily basis.  Not only are you helping others, but by helping others you are in turn helping yourself, deepening your understanding of the ideas and training that you are offering, and learning as you would not otherwise experience. 

There is the saying in the medical field; view one, do one and then teach one.  Teaching is when you know and understand to the core what you have learned and then give the benefit and value of teaching what you have learned to others.

• It helps to have loyal customers.  This means customers who come back to you time and time again.  These customers typically like you, know you and trust you, your leadership and your expertise. 

• It helps to have a mentor.  A person who you can go to for help, feedback and encouragement.  Someone who has been there and done that in the home based franchise industry.  Someone who already has a successful system in place and is willing to lead you to do the same.

• It helps to be a part of a Mastermind Group.  This might be an extension of your mentor.  A group of like-minded individuals who meet on a regular basis to learn from each others’ ideas and expertise.  Napoleon Hill of ‘Think and Grow Rich’ wrote that every great fortune in history has been created by being involved in a mastermind of like-minded individuals. 

It is in your critical Mastermind Group where you will find the correct people to align yourself with and who will help you succeed and encourage you to be the winner that you are.

• It helps to have the correct mindset that is needed to be a winner.  Your personal belief system and positive attitude will drive you to the success in your home based franchise.  Read books, attend conferences, and take your mastermind group seriously.  These are all areas where you will develop the mindset that will be needed for your success.

• It helps to have a past history of success.  History tends to always repeat itself and it was one thing I always looked at when I was a sales manager in corporate sales.  If someone was new to sales, I looked at what they accomplished in college and in high school.  Your winning ethics start very young and can be seen in everything that you do.  Knowing that you have been on top before, knowing what it takes to make it to the top will help you to create more opportunities and the ability to capitalize on them.
