You can become an affiliate of a program that involves a monthly membership or subscription fee.

In this way, you earn ongoing residual monthly commissions as long as the customer you referred remains subscribed to the program.

This is very attractive since you have the opportunity to earn recurring income.

Continuity can refer to membership programs as mentioned above, however, in this sense I am talking about merchants who assign a customer to a particular affiliate for life. Any purchases of any product at any time by that customer will earn you a commission.

Sound good? It is. Especially when you consider that most affiliate marketing involves a person clicking on your affiliate link, visiting the vendors' site, and if they make a purchase, you get paid. The end.

With continuity programs, a person clicks on your affiliate link, visits the merchants site and signs up for free information. The merchant captures the persons information and assigns this customer to you. Whatever and whenever this person buys form the vendor, you make an affiliate commission.

Essentially, with continuity programs, you are being rewarded for building the opt-in list of the merchant.

But here is the added beauty: the merchant will keep marketing to this list and that will increase the odds that you will eventually earn commissions. Especially if the merchant keeps introducing new products.
