Searching for an MLM opportunity is often a difficult task. But, there are a few things that you can and should consider during your search. Every network marketing company has a product to sell (and if they don't, run because they're probably illegal), so it is important that the product is something you are passionate about or could get passionate about when you see how it is assisting people. It is important to believe in the product that you are going to be selling because if you're not, people will see right through you. If you start an MLM business and are selling a product that you do not believe in, people will see right through your ploy and know you're just in it to make money.
Another thing you should consider before starting an MLM opportunity is the compensation plan that the business has. Some network marketing companies have a compensation plan that requires you to sign up so many people who also sign up so many people in order to get paid. Some companies only pay you on your "weak leg," and to me this means that they're not going to pay you on most of you work. For the most part, the easier the compensation plan is to explain, the simpler it is to make money (I don't say "easier" here because MLM businesses require work)! Let's talk about how to have a successful first week in your MLM opportunity. It's important to get excited about your opportunity, but you also want to calm down enough to actually have a strategy as to how you are going to introduce your products to your friends or family members, along with any other types of marketing you're going to do.
It seems like it's the newest trend for people to say, "You don't need to talk to your friends and family," but my mindset is: why not mention it to them so that way when I'm making lots of money, they are not upset because I didn't give them the opportunity. And plus, a lot of them will say yes if you don't hype it up and tell them you're going to make $100,000 in the next two weeks. I found from many years of trial and error that just down playing your product and your business is much more believable. I think this approach works much better than ignorance on fire. Knowledge on fire equals better results.
