When it comes to making money, I am an expert. Everybody is gifted in certain areas. I know how to discover what other people need or want, and how to approach & provide it for them. If you can provide what other people need or want, you will always have money.
I have always preferred to work for myself. I make money almost everyday. On most days I can make more money in a few hours then the average person can make working all day long. This is hard for most people to understand because they have been trained all of their life that the only way to make money was to go to work at a job. It took me many years of hard work and research to develop these skills I am about to explain to you.
If you have a vehicle and a phone number all you need is 99 cents for a permanent marker to make signs and you are in business. Different opportunities to make money arrive at different times of the year. Design your ad on pieces of cardboard (free) and place at eye level near traffic congestion at stop signs or stop lights. (The most effective place to put a sign is near a bank drive thru where people are bored and waiting with a pen in their hand.)
When you design your sign always place a border around the edge. This makes the sign stand out and it gets read about 30% more often then a sign without a border.
Humor sells. Use your imagination to amuse your prospects when making your sign. Your sign should only be about 10” wide and 20” long. If it is too long the wind will catch it and blow it away. So you only have room to place a few key words to get your message across. Convert, “I Rake Leaves (123) 456-7890” to “Leaves--B--Gone 123-4567” or “I clean up Dog waste,” to “The Super Pooper Scooper.”
The colors of red and yellow are best at attracting attention. You can buy yellow poster board at your local superstore and cut it into three signs. Then you could post your ad in black marker and then list your phone number in red to get fancy.
Always remember that your PHONE NUMBER is the most important thing on your whole ad. Make it stand out by making it larger than the rest of the sign.
Now when you get a call for the services you provide, you can be certain that they don’t trust you and have already called some competitors to compare prices. You want to give them an “Introductory Offer” to demonstrate your products or services. Even if you have to make very little to no profit to get your first job, it is well worth it. They almost always have more then one project that they need to get done or pay somebody to do. Lower your cost to get the job and do an excellent job for them. People have mouths and they use them. Once you get your foot in the door you can make a profit by doing other jobs for them and their neighbors.
Always have your business cards and flyers available when you do a job. Every time you do a job for a person they normally have neighbors poking their heads out the windows wanting to know what is going on. Use this to your advantage by,”blanketing” the neighborhood with your flyers advertising your services. Never put anything in their mailbox. It is a violation of federal law. Take it to their front door and knock. If they answer explain who you are, what you are doing there, and offer them your business flyer in case they are interested, “in your Introductory Offer.” Don’t get too pushy. Just smile, be friendly and allow them time to investigate you and your services. If you do good work – they will call.
You can learn how to save and make money every month of the year with the money saving calendar. It has new business ideas that you will never discover on your own. I researched and designed these money making prospects when illegal immigration almost put me out of business. I had to use my head to find a market for services that were not well known or easy to learn. A calendar is something you have to buy anyway.
