MLM and Simplicity are not on the Same Page

If you've been involved in business for any length of time you've no doubt heard about the K.I.S.S. principle.

Keep It Super Simple
or
Keep It Simple Stupid

It's really not important which one you like better because they both mean the same thing.

The Idea here is SIMPLICITY!

And this concept is one that most Network Marketing Companies seem to have forgotten.

The Higher ups and heavy hitters involved in most mlm seem to want to make things as complicated as possible and seem to have absolutely ZERO understanding of the concept of simplicity.

Think about it for a second...

The replicated website you get when you join an MLM company is what internet marketers refer to as a "Branding" type of site.

Branding Sites are websites with many different links to many different pages throughout the site. These sites usually have explanations about the company, the leadership, the compensation plans, the products, and a whole bunch of other stuff. These sites are HORRIBLE for making sales.

At face value it makes sense for a website to be kind of like a brochure...but let me give you some food for thought.

When was the last time you read every single page of a website?

Chances are you never have.

And if you've never read every page of a website what makes you think that some random person who gets to your site is going to read every single page and then magically become sold on your company.

The replicated website that your Network Marketing Company gave you is WWWWAAAAAYYY to complicated and therefore is counter-productive to you becoming successful.

Any good Internet Marketer will tell you that it’s imperative to have a simple website that only focuses on ONE outcome!

The same argument about simplicity can be made about Compensation plans as well.

What the hell is a 6 by seven forced matrix with roll-up and compression with a 2-up bonus structure that pays infinity car bonuses down to 12 levels as long as you've achieved diamond status and have 6 members with platinum status below you. Oops...almost forgot the BV and PV requirements and overrides available on the 45th level.

Think about this for a second...wouldn’t it make a lot more sense to just say:

"Hey Mrs. Prospect your focus should be to get 6 people.
And if everyone can just focus on getting 6 then you'll make $10,000 a month."

My point is simply this.

For whatever reason, Network Marketing companies, CEO's and heavy hitters have NO CLUE how to make things simple. Success has a way of being much more attainable the easier we make things.
