Don’t think about monetizing your growing facebook friends list until after FORTY days. For the first forty days focus on providing valuable content in your posts and being an active member in 5-7 groups that are of your interest or that are in your business’ market. You should also isolate 10 high traffic FAN PAGES and post in them every morning. Examples of fan pages are Robert Kiyosaki’s fan page on facebook, Donald Trump’s fan page, etc.

Build your friends list ORGANICALLY and NATURALLY by being consistent and working on facebook on a day to day basis. You will generally not see results start to trickle until about day 45. Get used to not working for results... but this will pay off exponentially in the long run!

Create your OWN group and brand yourself as a leader and provider of information. In this group, GIVE THE MOST VALUE THAT PEOPLE IN YOUR COMPANY HAS EVER HAD! Provide links to other professional content by yourself or others that has valuable information people can look at. Promote your group to your growing friends list and invite them all to join.

As you start to grow a targeted list, remember NOT to spam. Instead, be the invisible marketer. Suggest, hint, be subtle. When you start promoting your own articles or your own products, you want to shape it so that people feel they made the decision THEMSELVES to go and click on your promoted link. Do not spam or force people to look at what you are marketing.

Remember this principle: The BEST marketing is more educational and better than most people’s actual content and information!

Continue to brand yourself as a leader by posting new information daily and interacting with the groups your are a part of. Continue to build relationships with like minded people through facebook. NEVER spam. Rather, always GIVE rather than take. You should be close to day 45 by now. Your list of targeted friends should be growing. Continue to interact and market invisibly. Now you can offer people your opportunity or your affiliate product and have built enough value for people to make the decision THEMSELVES. You will also have a huge list of like-minded people with whom you can interact with and prospect. If you’ve consitently given these people value and training, you can message them and ask them for their numbers. From there you can prospect them on the phone.
