Your small mail order business always starts out with a good product or service that you want to sell. Your product can be a book that you have created a how to DVD or another type of product. If you don’t have a product or service, sit down at your computer and start searching the internet for mail order products. There are many wholesale firms that would be willing to sell their products to you at wholesale prices. To get your creative mind working, you can sit down with a pen and paper and write down all your ideas for making a how to manual. These are best kind of products to sell in mail order. Think of what you are passionate about and write a 20-30 page booklet. Many mail order companies create their own how to manual from scratch and can make thousands of dollars. After you have found your product or made your booklet, you will need to decide on a price for the product or manual. You can print it with nice bright copy paper. Have someone critique your sales letter for punctuation and spelling corrections before you send it out.
