There are several options for starting a home business. You need to figure out if there is something that you are really passionate about and want to pursue. You do not really expect people to know about your good cakes if you simply bake them and display them on your dining table and simply call a few friends.
Business is much more than this. Hence you should plan out accordingly. This example holds true for any kind of business.

So go ahead, after all there is nothing actually that can prevent you from starting your very own home business.
