Why, you might ask?  Real relationships involve taking criticism along the way, and you must be confident enough to take criticism and profit from it.

I think the most successful quality for success is a combination of those mentioned above plus the willingness to take risks. Successful entrepreneurs are self-motivated, talented, and possess a skill that is marketable. Failed entrepreneurs are missing just one thing: courage. Just like the lion in The Wizard of Oz! However, the lion was smart enough to see he needed courage to help him reach his goals. Unfortunately, many smart people have yet to find their courage. You need to be aware that there will be many times during this adventure when you will have to draw on your personal fortitude. You may need courage to quit your present job or the courage to hire another person as your successful home based business starts to grow.

For years, colleagues and professional peers encouraged me to go out on my own, but I held back, afraid to walk away from the security of a paycheck. I knew they were right and that the only way I could gain a large income and success was to work for myself, but I couldn't find the courage to actually do it.
