Using the Internet Correctly in you MLM Business

I am blessed to have experience in both internet marketing and network marketing. If you are active in the MLM Community then you're no doubt aware that slowly but surely more and more companies are attempting to use the internet to help their members recruit more people.

But the reality is that these companies have no clue how to use the internet effectively in helping YOU grow your business. Those in charge think that by giving you some kind of fancy-shmancy replicated site that they are doing you a favor. Trust me...they're not!

I don’t have time in this little article to go over years of internet marketing experience but let’s just go over a few key points.

1. Websites should be simple. In order for a site to be effective it should have a specific outcome in mind. At first that outcome should be simply getting people to leave you their contact information so that you can generate your own leads.

2. Using the internet is in my opinion the best way to generate leads for your business (if that’s what you're looking to do) The reason for this is because there are people online right now that are looking for a business opportunity like the one that you are in. They are actively seeking YOU as opposed to you going up to random people on the street and bugging them.

3. Follow up is a breeze. If you're familiar with internet marketing then you know that an auto-responder is a vital component of your success. If you don’t know what an auto-responder is then just understand that an autoresponder is a tool that manages the e-mail addresses of everyone you’re trying to stay in contact with. By using an auto-responder you can send out pre-written messages to everyone at pre-determined times and/or you can send out large 1-time emails to everyone with just the click of a button

If you're still using to your normal e-mail service provider to try to stay in contact with a large group of people then you need to STOP and get an auto-responder.

Over all the basic Flow of using the internet goes like this

1. Get in front of people looking for you
(in other words - DRIVE TRAFFIC TO YOUR SITE)
2. Have a simple 1 page site that captures their name and email address
3. Have your auto-responder follow up with them
4. "Sell" them multiple times on your opportunity

The neat thing is that if you are using your auto-responder correctly and getting a steady flow of traffic then you can actually say to people:

"CALL ME IF YOU'RE INTERESTED"

Now they are the ones chasing you, as opposed to you chasing them.
