There are a number of reasons why many people choose to start a home business. The first (and most obvious) reason is to generate extra income without having to take on another job. The advantage of working from home, is that you can fit your business activities around your other work and family commitments relatively easily.
In addition not all people want to be accountable to a supervisor or manager. As an employee it is often very difficult to be creative and innovative and so individuals with greater aspirations often prefer to be their own boss.
There are many other benefits to being a business owner including the tax advantages and the income earning potential, but do all potential home-based entrepreneurs know where and how to begin?
The answer to this is often NO and this is why the Network Marketing business model is ideally suited to people in the awkward situation where they want to have the income and freedom from a home business, but are unsure of what steps to take.
In Network Marketing you will have the opportunity to work with experienced Network Marketers, also known as Independent Associates, who will have a vested interest in your success. This means that they will be more than willing to train you in the strategies that they have personally used to succeed in the industry. There are very few business models that encourage teamwork rather than competition, but the Network Marketing model enables this balance to be achieved.
The customer also benefits when a company chooses the Network Marketing model and Direct Sales distribution route. We know that products are better value when purchased directly from manufacturers, as this approach cuts out the middlemen (wholesalers and retailers). Therefore, by allowing customers to order direct from the manufacturer, they are able to get their products at the best possible price.
From a business perspective, Associates do not need to hold high levels of stock and do not need to manufacture, package or ship products. This is taken care of by the company that the Associate chooses to represent. This arrangement is ideal for the customers, the Independent Associates and the company, creating a win-win situation all round!
