You Asked For It!

Several years ago I began the study of mindset.  I have always been interested in improving myself, but always stopped at “being positive”, I had no idea that the entire universe was working with or against me at all times.

Then I began to read more and study more about natural law.  Natural law is by definition:

Skepticism runs wild in our mindset as human beings.  Most people think that things happen to them because of outside forces beyond their control, especially when it comes to the negative.

Recently, I was having a conversation with my mentor, and I said "I really can’t believe that things that I have 'asked' for are really truly coming to fruition."  He said “you have been asking for a lot of things, and in time you will have them all.”

Now it’s not like I thought about things yesterday, and poof they are at my door this morning.  I am speaking of a consistent set of thoughts, plans and ideas running through my head in working towards these “goals” consistently in my daily activity.

But what really excites me, is that things seem to just fall in place and I seemingly have nothing to do with it.  But in actuality I have everything to do with it. 

So what does it take to make it “happen”?  Truthfully, I can’t answer that for you, you have to answer that for you.  I can only tell you that two things have to be in place mentally.

Number one, you have to have a general idea of what you want in life.  Now a lot of people will tell you to make a dream board and right down what you really want.  Personally, I could fill up six more garages with what I want.  But deep down inside, I just want to be the best “me” I can be and have fun.

So that’s it.  Nothing earth shaking, just be the best human being that I am capable of being today, and work on getting better tomorrow.  Simply improve everyday and add a few good friends and hearty laughs along the way.

Now the secret, DO IT!  You can’t just sit down on your couch and think it, you have to do it.  Let me share what I do, to work everyday towards the above goal.

Everyday I wake up, I lay in bed and focus.  No matter how bad I may feel, physically or mentally, I work to focus on something positive.  I have a plan for each day, what I am going to do every hour of the day till 5pm, sometimes even further into it.

I try to make every encounter with other human beings positive, it doesn’t always work, but I consciously plan and review conversations and try to stay positive.  I try and stay in the company of positive people, granted sometimes easier said than done.

I study other people who I admire, what are their habits, what can they teach me.  Younger or older you can learn from everybody. 

I do Toastmasters, every week.  For me comfort in speaking is one of the hardest things to do, so I meet it head on.  Nobody is telling me I have to do it, except me.  You see in life, I feel you have to challenge yourself to accomplish your goals.  If you stay in the same place all the time, the “comfort zone”, you will not grow or accomplish much of anything other than a paycheck.

I continue to study natural law.  The more we are in harmony with our surrounding and natural law, the more abundant and opulent or life is.  These laws are facts, not myths and legends but as real as the day is long.  Study the laws of Attraction, the laws of Abundance and so on, your life will never be the same.
