Bathroom Dispensers

BEWARE ! Beware of "free" soap and paper dispensers that have higher long-term costs, vandalism, and low quality bathroom dispensers. Are your toilet paper dispensers, toilet seat cover dispensers, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers meeting today's standards? The public demands clean and functional restrooms that are convenient and easy to use. The challenge must be met by building owners and managers.

Toilet paper dispensers, toilet seat cover dispensers, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers are found in all types of public and private restrooms in airports, restaurants, retail establishments, class "A" office buildings, movie theaters, schools and universities, government buildings, and many other high use facilities. Savvy building owners and managers know the importance of clean and functional restrooms. They are aware that women are responsible for 80% of all retail purchase decisions. And they are very aware that women with small children want well located, well stocked and clean restrooms or they will not return.

The invention, use and sale of toilet paper always interests people. Before toilet paper people used whatever was available - grass, leaves, shells, corncobs, stones, pieces of clay, etc. The Romans used sponges that were attached to sticks and stored in jugs of salty water. The "first" known toilet paper was produced for Chinese emperors in the late 14th century. They were manufactured on 2 foot x 3 foot sheets. Later, newspapers and magazines were common substitutes for toilet paper. The Sears catalogue and The Farmer's Almanac were both utilized in this manner and the Farmer's Almanac had a hole in it so that it could be hung on a hook and the pages conveniently torn off for use. The first modern toilet paper was produced by Joseph C. Gayetty in 1857. It was a pre-moistened, aloe-medicated product called "Gayetty's Medicated Paper" and his name was printed on every sheet. However, this first modern toilet paper was not "refined" as today's product and contained a number of splinters embedded in the paper. Yes, sometimes it was "ouch!"

During the early days of toilet paper it was an embarrassing purchase. Even the manufacturing companies were hesitant to put their names on the product. It was routinely sold "under the counter." In 1935 the first "splinter-free" toilet paper was introduced by Northern Tissue and in 1942 the two-ply toilet paper was introduced. In 1973 the United States experienced its first toilet paper shortage. And today toilet paper is also used as a political weapon in South America. Prior to the elections of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, many of his industrial opponents created artificial shortages of "necessary" products such as food and toilet paper. The goal was to suggest that Chavez's policies were responsible for the shortages.

Our toilet paper dispensers, toilet seat cover dispensers, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers are designed and manufactured for today's customers. They are designed to withstand abuse and damage by vandals. Our Toilet Paper Dispensers provide a complete selection of surface mounted, recessed and partition mounted units. And there are similar options for Toilet Seat Cover Dispensers. There are multi-roll models for high volume or infrequent maintenance locations. You can select controlled or non-controlled delivery. And most models have theft-resistant spindles.

Our Soap Dispensers can be recessed, surface mounted or lavatory (counter) mounted. There are sensored units available to control the amount of soap dispensed. They are made from stainless steel or corrosion-resistant plastic components and have ADA compliant valves that require less than five pounds of force to operate. The facility usage should be carefully analyzed to purchase the appropriate model.

Our Paper Towel Dispensers offer the building owner a variety of choices from the traditional to the touchless. The touchless models are becoming more popular because the only thing the user touches is the paper towel. Like the sensored Soap Dispenser, the touchless Paper Towel Dispenser reduces the number of things or surfaces a restroom user touches and therefore reduces the spread of germs.

Our toilet paper dispensers, toilet seat cover dispensers, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers offer an excellent combination of price, selection, ease of installation and convenience. They are modern, well-designed, vandal resistant, low maintenance and will save the building owner money over the long-term. These dispensers are essential elements in modern restroom design and function.
