Build Solar Panels

With the recession affecting almost everybody all over the country, many people are trying to find ways in which they can save money and beat the credit crunch. One way in which you can save a lot of money as well as help out the environment is by using solar panel energy. This might sound like something which only large businesses can afford, but believe it or not you too can build solar panels so that you can harness the energy of the sun to save up to 100% on your energy bills. This will not only help you to beat the recession and save money for the more important things in life, but it will mean that you are helping to make a big difference in saving the environment. But how do you build solar panels?

A solar panel is quite an easy piece of technology which you can make and if you have ever fixed the pluming or make a bookcase then you will be able to build solar panels quite easily as long as you have the right tools and equipment and some simple instructions which you can follow to help you build solar panels. Believe it or not, to make a solar panel or solar panel system you don’t need specialist tools and equipment all you need to get you started on building your own solar panel is; a wood saw, a drill, a hacksaw, a hammer, a screwdriver, screws and nails, a paintbrush and a file and a tape measure. These are the main tools which you need in order to get started on building solar panels.

But what materials do you need in order to build your own solar panel system and start saving money on your utility bills straight away? Well, to build one solar panel you will need an aluminum sheet, a 10 millimeter copper tube, glass fiber wool and wood for creating the frame, a ply sheet as well as some 4 millimeter thick glass. You can purchase these items from all good hardware stores or if you have trouble finding the equipment that you need to build solar panels then you can also order them from a mail order company which specializes in do it yourself equipment, you can find lots of help and advice on the internet if you are having trouble locating the equipment that you need.
