Creating Outdoor Garden Ambience With Solar Lighting

Many people take advantage of the warmer seasons to host outdoor events such as weddings and special parties. During such occasions many people create fun or elegant lighting through the use of candles or special fixtures. The trouble with making such a choice is that there are some dangers associated with the open flames, they may also need constant attendance in order to remain lit or there can be high costs associated with renting or purchasing special, single-use fixtures. The most frequent solution among savvy consumers is the use of solar lighting fixtures and accents to create a unique atmosphere full of soft and ambient lighting, and even the gentle gurgling of fountains!

Today, anyone interested in making a magical lighting display for a wedding or party at an outdoor location can find everything from "Tiki" light torches, nets of twinkling "star" lights, orb-shaped lanterns that spread beams in all directions and even fountains that cascade gentle streams of water.

For example, an outdoor summer wedding would require no heavy generators or hard to manage flames in order to create an elegant lighting scheme. Instead they could simply install sets of unique and innovative "bollard" lights along all of the paths and walkways, or even create a custom "dance floor" on a grassy area by surrounding it with these simple, subtle and gentle solar lights. Instead of plain walls or screens this same area could have sets of solar path lights serve to cast a twinkling and romantic backdrop to the entire event. There are also many options in porch, patio and deck lighting fixtures that are totally portable and entirely unique. There are old-fashioned lanterns with frosted glass panels, or those etched with elegant designs. There are sculpted terra cotta spheres with charming patterns marked all around their surface, and through which enchanting patterns of light create a gentle yet creative effect.

Of course the solar powered outdoor lights options don't have to be all about gentle or whimsical effects; they can also be used to illuminate an outdoor party with fun and festive looks. This includes solar lamp posts crafted to look exactly like traditional lamp posts and "Tiki" torches, hanging fixtures that can be easily relocated to suit the needs of the event, or even flood or spot lights that can brightly light an area surrounding a pool, hot tub or garden in which a friendly gathering or party will take place.

The best thing about any of these choices is their ease of set up as well as "breakdown" which means they can be used year round or only for those special events.
