Of course after your pool has been installed, the next order on the agenda would be to stock up on pool supplies. This can run the gamut from all of the pool chemicals that you will need and the containers to keep them in to even the toys that the kids will need while they are busy doing what they do best and that is playing.
There are some tricks to acquiring and keeping pool supplies and if you use them it can make your pool so much more fun and easier to maintain. The first thing that you will need to know is that any pool toys and floats and toys will need to have a safe place where they can be kept when they are not in use.
Leaving them out in the hot sun means that in very short order they will be in tatters and also dogs love to chew on pool toys. Remember to get a nice pool screen on a long pole to skim your pool with and keep a supply of anything that you need for your pool filter system as well.
If you don't have a kids pool then you will want to have a few strap on pool floats for the kids who are learning to swim. Balls work great in pools and the thin light ones work best, because kids love to throw them at each other and heavy wet balls can sting when they hit while a light ball doesn't.
Get some big pool towels also and make sure that they are colorful, so they don't get mixed up with the towels in your home. Finally it is smart to keep anything that you don't want the kids getting into such as chemicals and spare parts packed up and away in a safe place like locked in a pool house.
