The past year has seen a sharp increase in the number of people with natural stone, marble, granite, limestone, sandstone or slate fitted into their home and work surfaces or as flooring. No man can compete with products made the beauty of natural stone and presented with its myriad of colors and patterns that are unique to your stone.
With this increased interest in returning to natural stone has an avalanche of products for cleaning, shine and seal the stones. Importers, retailers of diamonds, manufacturers and chemical companies have jumped on the band wagon and see the great advantages of natural stone. Unfortunately, it seems that very few of these companies have an understanding of the products they sell or equipment or advising clients to buy.
In the past, most of our work on the restoration of old marble, granite or limestone, but we are increasingly called upon to deal with all the new tiles that have developed problems.
Some of these problems:-
1. The tiles are laid so that there is clearly lippage.
2. Grouting differences are too large.
3. Tile sealer cement after.
4. Poor seal used.
5. Acrylic sealants applied.
6. Polish or wax to be applied to the surface,
7. Marble and limestone are used in the kitchen.
8. Slate used in showers.
9. No closure of the stone.

Research on the subject before you buy so you can ask questions. If you suspect or glib answers to the foot and other stores
Do not go for the cheaper, May they be more expensive in the long term
As far as possible to keep some of the money until the job is completed to your satisfaction. In this way, if there is a problem, you can insist that it be corrected.
Your best protection is to become familiar with the properties of natural stone and its care and maintenance before you go to purchase your choice of type of stone. You can do this by searching on the web.
