In 2003 a survey was conducted of the general membership of the international redesign organization, I.R.I.S. (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists) to compile statistics on homes that had been staged prior to their sale. Of the 21 states represented by membership response, these are the average percentages reflected in the survey results.

5% of all staged homes sold the same day
2% of all staged homes sold within 2 days
9% of all staged homes sold within 3-5 days
84% of all staged homes sold within 5-30 days
Dollar of Sales:
The survey posed the question: "How much over the "asking" price have your staged homes sold for?"
39% responded the homes sold for up to $4,999 over asking price.
45% responded the homes sold for $5,000 – $49,999 over the asking price.
16% responded the homes sold for $50,000-$200,000 over the asking price.
