I Would Say That There Are No Better Way To Clean Mattress Apart From To Vacuum Clean It.

I would say that there are no better way to clean mattress apart from to vacuum clean it. This is because if you use other way to clean it, especially to wash it or use other method that use water, mold may rise in the mattress layers if moisture remains in the mattress. Using mattress pads are the better option for keeping a mattress spotless and safe from stains and moisture that may go from spills and accidents.

However, there is another option for you to use a water proof mattress. A waterproof mattress pad saves you from having to tidy or clean it as a mattress will never have stains and/or odors as it protects against overall staining and offers maximum ability to protect your mattress.

This is because water-resistant mattress pads have generally been coated with a fabric protector, which will resist and reject all kind of staining as well as reduce saturation. Normally mattress pads are available in all sizes but the thread counts are generally washable and dryable. However, many of mattress producer strongly recommend that you must clean mattress by using vacuum cleaner only, but for some family who can not afford a big vacuum cleaner. In that case, a small portable vacuum cleaner is also acceptable to use for mattress cleaning and you have to clean both mattress and box spring on regular basis

About how to clean mattress properly, many people prefer to turn over or flipping it twice or every three months, which I strongly recommend to stick on this frequency It can be done while vacuuming to clean a mattress and helps keep even to clean up of something that beneath in the mattress. A small proportion of baking soda can also be used by sprinkle on it about 30 minutes before you vacuum it, this will help to remove stains and dust that deeply hide in the mattress.

However, you may feel that using only vacuum cleaner can not make you rest assured your mattress is completely cleaned. In that case, a small amount of soap water can be used to clean mattress but you have to make sure that you also use with small amount of cold water and a mild detergent to clean and after cleaning. It must be completely dried before put back to its place. You may have to put them against the strong sunlight for a whole day. Dry cleaning solutions should not be used to clean a mattress as the harsh chemicals may ruin materials in the mattress.

Sometime you might have situation of flooding in your house or any other occasion that make your mattress completely wet or soaked. As the mattress is not easy to be squeezed and extract the water out of it. You may use plenty of towels and/or paper towels to absorb all water and the moisture. , but it may be messy to clean up. Powdered detergent or baking soda mixed with a tiny bit of cold water put onto the mattress with a brush or sponge is a good way to freshen and clean a mattress that has been urine-soaked.
